Top Five Cruise Tips that Make for a Perfect Cruise
Tip #1: We are pretty sure you paid a good chunk of change for your cruise, a sure way to have a wonderful experience is to start off by slipping your cabin steward a $20 Dollar Bill this will almost guarantee that they perform at peak efficiency, the same goes for the dining workers and bar tenders. Just imagine, you and your love one lounging at the pool side and never having to wave a waitress over for a new drink. Tip big in the beginning and they will be looking to over your next drink.
Tip #2: Get to the port before everyone else, being one of the 1st on the ship, can add great value to your overall cruise experience. We like to board and go straight to the pool area, grab a bite to eat and sit back and relax. By the time most people on the cruise get settled in and head to the pool we are ready to go tour the inside. Nothing is more relaxing then being at the pool with only a few other people around. Service is always top-notch at this time as well.
Tip #3: Keeping with the last tip you should always plan ahead, make sure you are early to everything. For some strange reason guest on cruise ships always seem to be last minute. You can avoid a whole lot of headaches by getting to dinner, shows and any other activities your cruise has to offer.
Tip #4: The one thing that will ruin your cruise it to get Sea Sick we wrote a past blog about this and have a few tips on curing seasickness see them here - 11 ways to Cure Seasickness / Motion Sickness
Tip #5: Everyday there steward will place the ship's daily newsletter, listing all the dining and entertainment options available to you for that day and night. Be sure to read them, and even carry them with you to refer to throughout the day, that way if you are running late and get to a show and it is full you will know exactly where to go to find the next activity, never leaving you in the dark as to what to do next.
